World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

In case you haven’t heard, April 26th is World Tai Chi & Qigong Day! There are over 1600 events in 65 countries. World Tai Chi and Qigong Day aims to send a positive wave of energy around the world and to draw attention to the benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong.

I will be having a free Qigong class/event at Carmichael Park on Saturday, April 26th starting at 10:15am. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend, no experience necessary, and you don’t need to be a regular student to attend. Bring your family and friends and participate in this worldwide event!

We will be practicing in the Carmichael Park area behind the Post Office, set back from the road a little bit. There is a short road just south of the Post Office called Landis Road, if you follow that to the end there’s a small gate and entrance into the back of the park. We will be already practicing, so feel free to come over and join in!

Click here for a map of where we will be. You can actually pull into the parking lot for Carmichael Park and park near the kid’s playgrounds and the dog run.  See the map for exact locations.

You can find more information about World Tai Chi and Qigong Day here.

We will be having Qigong class at 8am and 9am before the event. You can attend class and the event, just class, just the event, whatever you feel like…hope to see you there!
