Using Water to Cool Fire

In this exercise, we draw the water energy from the kidneys and using the cooling properties of the dantien and raise this energy up to the heart, to cool excess fire that accumulates there. Follow the breathing displayed on the video and make sure to breathe naturally, and make sure you relax your shoulders. Remember to have your movements match your breath…if you take deep breaths then your movements will be slower. Repeat as many times as you wish. As you go through, you can try and do each repetition a little slower than the previous one, so that each time you are taking in more air as you breathe.
